My name is Tavi and I am a filmmaker / editor.

I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico but now reside in Vancouver, BC. I have a deep love of travel and cultures. My goal is to create captivating stories that inspire and move people.

My work has taken me around the world, from a mission to document the Kumbh Mela pilgrimage in India, to a trek into Tsum, a sacred valley in Nepal, to the bottom of the sea on Canada’s Pacific coast in search of threatened deep sea corals. My award winning film The Pilgrimage was about my 900 km journey along the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain. As a lover of music, I have directed multiple music videos that have garnered millions of views. I edited Tomorrow's Harvest, a CBC documentary that tells the story of some of B.C.'s young urban farmers. And recently I edited the award winning feature documentary Subterranean about cavers searching for the longest and deepest caves in Canada. I also work at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival for the past decade as it reflects my passion for the outdoors and adventure. Additionally, I am a promo producer for Knowledge Network.

I hope my creative endeavours, present and future, reveal the unique beauty and diversity of our planet.

If you have any projects you would like to collaborate on, please get in touch.
